愛知県は4日、2022年秋の開業を目指して同県長久手市の愛・地球博記念公園に整備する「ジブリパーク」の総事業費を約340億円とする計画概要を公表した。
年間来園者数は先行開業時で約100万人、経済波及効果は年約480億円と推計した。
パークは園内の約7.1ヘクタールに整備。ジブリ作品の世界観をテーマに全5区域で構成し、
開業は「となりのトトロ」がテーマの「どんどこ森エリア」など3区域が22年、「もののけ姫」をイメージした「もののけの里エリア」などは約1年後としている。
計画概要では先行区域の整備費を約182億円、残り2区域は約158億円とした。
